The house is cladded in Mabati (metal sheeting) and is a one of a kind design in Kenya. The house has a small plunge pool which is solar heated during the daytime & can be wood fire heated at night. The Studio, Lake Naivasha

The Stunning Studio, (built in the 1930s for Oria’s artistic mother, Giselle) is now a much larger water-melon-red house, with a big cedar panelled room. Arriving at the Studio with its own private garden and tall trees, is simply a joy. The Studio is situated within the beautiful green Wildlife Sanctuary on the northern shores of Lake Naivasha; home to multiple zebras, impala, giraffe, waterbuck, leopard, hyena, hippos, warthogs and other wildlife, plus countless birds.
