"Nordico Point" - Cozy Cabin on Mitchell Lake

Welcome to Nordico Point. Since 1984 our family has enjoyed the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Our private 4.5 acres w/1200' of lakeshore reminds us of some of the most beautiful BWCA campsites that we have stayed at. Nordico Point aims to provide a similar experience for those who still desire a wilderness experience but no longer want to portage or sleep on the ground. And paddling is 100% voluntary. PS - you can launch a boat, too - small boat(16ft max - just no wake board boats allowed;)

Stunning Lake Home on Peaceful Swan Lake!

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. Quiet lake, great for fishing & relaxing or to spend the day playing in the water! The lake offers a large sand bar, a family friendly restaurant which hosts live music & raffles, and is great for paddle boarding. 2 miles away is the golf course and the community center which has tennis courts & a baseball diamond. About 20 miles either way is Grand Rapids or Hibbing MN, which both offer numerous restaurants and bars to enjoy!

So many outdoor activities nearby to enjoy ~ golfing, ATV trails, hiking, biking, wolves, bears, canoeing, kayaking, and fishing to name a few. Birch River runs into twenty mile long Birch Lake known for its wilderness beauty and trophy northern pike and walleyes.

Early Frost Farms is a hobby farm specializing in vegetable growing. Our general store sells canned goods and ice cream treats. We are located right on Mesabi Bike Trail, 17 minutes from Giant's Ridge; 35 min. from Ely and the north shore.
