Mökki sijaitsee isolla tontilla ja siitä on avarat näkymät järvelle ja vaaramaisemiin. Kylältä pääsee lossilla upealle hiekkarannalle. Hiihtolatujen lähtöpiste on 2 km:n päässä, mutta pihalta voi lähteä suoraan järven jäälle hiihtämään. Kalastajalle Kemijärvi tarjoaa runsaita saaliita.
