You may run into other guests due to a shared outdoor gated entry but each unit has a separate private and secure entrance into the Airbnbs. The kitchen and dining area are right above the 1st floor Airbnb, so we appreciate not walking with your shoes (if loud) upstairs. Within 5 to 10 minutes are the Medical Center, NRG, and Downtown Houston! Less than 15 minutes away are the BBVA Compass Stadium, Minute Maid Park, Rice University, University of Houston, Texas Southern University, the Houston Zoo, Museum District and many many wonderfully diverse culinary options from food trucks to breweries to steakhouses! Approximately 15 seconds to highway 288 which gets you downtown in around 8 minutes. Stay here and you don't have to fight street traffic on top of freeway/highway traffic! Street parking in front of the house along the grass is plentiful! Most of the owners park here since our garages tend to be for storage :) No Pets Allowed (We are very allergic!). We also appreciate you leaving your shoes in the foyer since we have soft pine wood flooring upstairs. You will have access to the townhouse through our gated side yard. There is a small 2nd story patio that you will have all to your self as well. Great spot for winding down after a long day with some of Houston's finest craft beers. The side yard and patio are both wonderfully lit for both safety and atmosphere. Please do not walk to back of house on 1st floor as this is a separate Airbnb unit. We recently moved closer to downtown so we're still just minutes away and can help with issues you may be having. We do clean our own units so don't be surprised to run into us as we're cleaning the other Airbnb :) This unique metal-clad townhouse complex sits right in the heart of an urban neighborhood in inner-loop Houston. Less than a 5-minute drive from downtown, diverse culinary options are on the doorstep, from food trucks to breweries and steakhouses. Minutes from the new HEB and other amenities. Hobby Airport is 15-30 Minutes away depending on traffic. George Bush Airport is 30-40 minutes away depending on traffic. Local bus station is a 6 minute walk away. You can bike to the closest rail line station. This is Texas though so driving (including Uber) is usually the easiest way to get around. We will send more detailed access instructions (tips, really) the day of or the day prior to your arrival, so please keep an eye out for that. Access to the unit is completely host-free, so you can check in at any time after 3pm and come and go as you please, no matter the time! This gorgeous, recently renovated 1920's home features its own private garden, a welcome green oasis in the bustling metropolis of Mexico City. Spend the morning exploring the neighborhood, then retire for a siesta or afternoon coffee on the terrace. This house is the residence of a travel writer and her partner, a renowned Spanish artist. Once owned by Mexico’s Secretary of Education, Jaime Torres Bodet (a founder of our world famous Anthropology Museum) it has been painstakingly restored by the current owners in keeping with the true essence of the property, while adding a personal touch with furniture, objects and art they have collected from all over the world. This is one of the few houses in Mexico with European central heating. ( a must to have during winter ) The house has two stories and a mezzanine. On the main floor is the living room with original chimney and wood floors, kitchen, and dining room that seats 8 people and looks onto a peaceful garden. This floor also contains a half bathroom. On the mezzanine level there’s a Japanese futon and an 1800’s piano—a perfect nook to read, relax, or make music. On the second floor you’ll find the master suite with its own bathroom, balcony and separate TV room that can be used as an extra bedroom with a very comfortable Full bed. When the TV room is used as a bedroom it has his own entrance. Two additional bedrooms on this level share another bathroom: one has a queen-sized bed, the other two twin beds that can be joined to form a king-sized bed. Linens are of the finest quality Egyptian cotton. The house is fully serviced. Our housekeeper Ceci will spoil you with fresh orange juice and a selection of fresh fruit, bread, and homemade jam. Really well connected! Ceci the house keeper is an amazing cook. She will cook hot breakfast, lunch and dinner upon request. She usually do all the cleaning in the morning, but she can stay longer if you need her. We like to give our guests delicious hot Mexican breakfast. We like them to taste real Mexican home cooking. We are open to vegan, vegetarian, or any specific diet. Luis the maintenance guy will go to the house only is there is a problem to be fixed.

We always provide complimentary coffee to help get our guests day started off properly. The living room features comfortable and modern furniture, including a sofa bed and a 40" television with Xfinity X1 cable provided (with voice command). The bedroom has a queen-sized bed with crisp, lush bedding. You will also find a desk that's perfect for doing a little work (if you have to) on your laptop. The alarm clock has a Bluetooth setting if you want to listen to your own music while reading in bed. In the closet you'll find a full size washer and dryer, wooden hangers for your clothes and an iron and ironing board to keep your outfits looking neatly pressed. The bathroom features natural light which highlights the beautiful accent tile in the shower surround. There is a full-sized bathtub in case you want to take a soak. The entire guesthouse has its own WiFi along with hardwired internet connections. We take our commitment to our guests seriously and want to ensure you have everything you need to make your stay wonderful. Guests will have full access to the apartment. Guests can also enjoy accessing the backyard, featuring a seating area with a fire-pit and access to a propane powered BBQ grill. Check-in couldn't be easier. Our property is located right on a major bus line that makes for a 15 minute trip into downtown Houston where you can access theaters, restaurants and the city's light-rail line that can take you straight to Midtown (where you will find a variety of bars and restaurants) and the Museum District. Street parking is available for those with their own car and the city features ride-sharing services like Lyft and Uber. No smoking in the unit, no pets under any circumstances, no drugs or illegal activities.

Central East Austin is a diverse and dynamic neighborhood that is just a few minutes from downtown and yet still quiet. In addition to offering of some of Austin's best restaurants and music venues, it also has important history to explore. In the last century, highway 35 was a tool of segregation, with east (of 35) Austin providing a rich community for African Americans. See how this history lives on through a plethora of old and new businesses is this burgeoning neighborhood! There is a parking spot that you are welcome to use directly in front of the house and there is also plenty of street parking with no permitting or street cleaning concerns. The closest B-Cycle station is a 15 minute walk away at Victory Grill on 11th St. Many of the 6th St restaurants and bars are a 10 minute walk as well. If you would prefer not to walk, there are a selection of ride share services such as RideAustin (our favorite), Lyft, or Uber. The street has two names, Hamilton Ave and Richard Overton Ave. Depending on your map source you may see either one pop up. Richard Overton is the oldest living American and American World War II veteran at 112 years of age. He lives down the block where be bought a house after the war ended.

The neighborhood is plenty of embassies, iconic monuments, and museums, and it is close to the heart of Recoleta. Public transportation (trains and buses) are available at walking distance. Ezeiza airport (international) is one hour in average from the apartment by taxi, and J. Newbery airport (national) is 20 minutes by taxi. It's important to mention that the building do not have elevators, so you will have to step two floors by staircase. The housekeeper will be in charge of the check-in and check-out and she will be available for helping the guests in whatever they need. Additionally, she will be able to make extra cleaning services (full cleaning to the apartment, washing dishes, refresh of sheets and towels, etc.) subject to previous guests request to the host (Guillermo) by AirBnb app. The extra cost is US$40 per day. This area of Recoleta is on the edge of an upmarket area called "La Isla". The apartment is half a block from the National Library and in front of the Book and Language Museum. There are also some great neighbourhood restaurants not far away. Av Las Heras is an artery with a great variety of buses that can take you to any part of the city safely and at low cost (on the desk of the bedroom you will find SUBE cards, which you can charge money in a kiosk located in Tagle between Pagano and Libertador - Please leave them in the same place when retiring) Also the apartment is located to three blocks from the underground Las Heras station (Line H) that connects with all the network of "subtes" of Buenos Aires. For taxi use, I recommend using the Uber or Cabify applications. Mr. Arnaldo Duarte is the doorman of the building, he counts with my all trust and he will be able to collaborate with the guests needs as well. The apartment is equipped with a safe-box in the closet of the bedroom, instructions to use it will be provided by the host (Guillermo) directly by email, wapp, or txts (reserved information) after the guest request.
