Cozy Cabin Retreat With Best Views In Lake County

Our cabin is one of a kind. Isolated with easy access, it is located outside Leadville-10,200 feet, between the Sawatch and Mosquito ranges, with stunning views of both. Licensed through the Land County Land Use License #2026-P8, allowing 4 guests only. Please DO NOT bring additional guests. No cleaning fee. Winter guests: Easy access to town. The county plows the road, still we recommend AWD or 4WD for all winter travel. Please read “other things to note” before booking.

Welcome to Gear Down Leadville. A private studio apartment with sun room, full bath, and compact kitchen. Located right on the Mineral Belt Trail and Miner's Park. The view from the porch of Mt. Massive and Elbert (Colorado's highest peaks) can't be beat. Three blocks to downtown Leadville. Ride, bike, hike, and ski right outside your door. Gear Down is located in a three unit building.
