Second story one bedroom studio above small hair salon. Unique building conveniently located near historic downtown, major highways, restaurants and distilleries. Wi-Fi and on-site illuminated parking available as well. A window A/C unit (added 8/25) helps keep the 2nd story space cool during summer months. W/D svc available on stays over 5 days. The salon generally closes at 6 p.m. T-Th so there will be no traffic or noise after that time. The salon is also closed Sunday and Monday.

In the upper bedroom/great room you'll feel like you're staying in a tree house, and you'll even have your own deck area to enjoy the spray of color and a meandering creek. A literal sanctuary.

The Artist's Tranquil Nest & Studio

Nestled near Central Kentucky Wildlife Reserve, The Nest offers an entire upper floor for one price with two private rooms: Chickadee’s Nest (queen) & Sparrow's Nest (king and trundle), a Gathering room with a sleeper sofa, Paris Coffee Room, bird bath (bathroom), bird perch (deck), wifi, monitor/cable in each room. Art classes are offered upon request by children's book author/illustrator, Lori McKeel, for an additional fee. Separate entrance and plenty of privacy and parking.

This private, self-contained suite for one includes a foyer, office and kitchenette all in a large room. There is a cozy living room and a bedroom (queen bed) with a small ensuite bathroom. Relax in this well appointed and professionally decorated guest apartment. Boasting two bedrooms, one bath, full kitchen, living room and outdoor living space, this newly built unit is sure to create lasting fun memories. Located directly on Lake Herrington in a no wake zone cove. Shared dock access with home owners . IMPORTANT: During late fall and winter the winter level makes the dock unusable. Water returns to summer pool level by spring for boating season.
