The Caretaker's Cottage-Historic Roundabout Hills

The Caretaker's Cottage was built in the 1770s by Ruben Merriwether, and sits near the manor house where he and his ancestors lived at Roundabout Hills. An exceptional space with a fabulous full kitchen perfect for those who like to cook, it is truly a one of a kind place to stay. The house, where John and Fiona live, and the cottage are secluded and private, but close to all of the art, culture, restaurants and dining in the nearby towns of Frederick, Columbia, Baltimore, and Washington, DC.

Ellerslie cabin

Located in Glenwood, Maryland, Ellerslie is a 50 acre farm which dates back to 1763 with scenic views, fields of corn and a tranquil stocked pond. Nestled here is a small historic log cabin, built around 1810, that is charming and cozy. It has recently been restored and is equipped with all modern amenities, including a new stainless steel refrigerator and gas stove. The cabin is perfect for a business person who prefers staying in the country to a city setting or for a weekend getaway.

Bright, open floor plan with private entrance and free parking nestled in a quiet residential tree lined cul-de-sac in beautiful Marriottsville. This is a private suite in our home with over 900 square feet of space. It includes an efficiency kitchen equipped with a mini fridge, toaster, microwave and hot plate. This suite is a wonderful short term option for professionals & interns. The neighborhood borders Patapsco State Forest which offers hiking, biking, horseback riding and kayaking .

Enjoy your stay in this fabulous pool house located in a quiet neighborhood. Relax poolside during the day and enjoy the outdoor bar and kitchen for cocktails at sunset. Breathtaking views all around. Just 50 minutes from Baltimore and Washington DC and 10 minutes to historic downtown Frederick. We are 1/2 mile from Sykesville's Main Street - the 2016 Coolest Small Town in America. There are a lot of events in town, many walking paths through-out the community, a train that runs along the Patapsco River and through brick tunnels built in the 1800's. Nearby McDaniel College, Stevenson College, Patapsco State Park and Howard County Fair Grounds. You are less than an hour to Gettysburg, Antietam, Harpers Ferry, Baltimore, and Frederick, and about 1.5 hours from Washington, DC.

A quiet, restful retreat.

This is an in-law suite with private entrance attached to our home in a quiet neighborhood. There is a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room with sofa bed, bathroom and bedroom with queen bed and sofa bed. Folding baby crib (pack n play) with sheets and blankets available. There is a foldable single bed also available. We are an hour away from D.C. and Dulles Airport and 30 minutes away from Baltimore and BWI Airport. Street parking is available.

Located in a beautiful and peaceful part of Maryland our Garden Cottage offers a cute and cozy getaway. A perfect escape from the city, our cottage is nestled among some of Maryland's best farmers markets, breweries, wineries, and outdoor experiences while still being conveniently located near several small towns and Frederick, MD.
