It is situated 5 miles away from the historic university city of Cambridge, which is easy to reach by car, bus or bike via a good cycle route. There is free on-street parking next to the studio. The studio has a small kitchen with microwave-oven or options to eat out in our local curry house or lovely village pubs! The local Chinese and Indian do a prompt takeaway service!

Drinkmilk Lodge at Freedom Farm is set in 70 acres of private land. Previously a Newmarket stud it is only 15 minutes from Newmarket and half an hour from Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds, Saffron Walden and the A1. Walks or rides start directly from the farm onto the bridleway. The land is grazed by a herd of Dexter cattle and horses. There is a natural swimming pond and sauna for hire by arrangement. Parking is directly outside with disabled access.
