The Heron Hangout is a newly renovated home with an astonishing view of the Willapa Bay. The 2466 sq. ft. house sits on 4 plus acres, secluded from neighbors for a peaceful getaway. The Willapa Bay has an abundance of wildlife; it is common to see Blue Heron, ducks, geese, eagles and deer. Boats and dredges used in the oyster and steamer clam industry go past as the tide goes in and out. Venturing out and exploring all that the Long Beach Peninsula has to offer is just a short drive away.

We’ve upgraded our cottage but it still has that cozy cabin feel that guests love. Private trail across street is a 5 min. walk to the beach. Large backyard with firepit, horseshoes & chairs. It is a 35 minute walk or 5 minute drive into downtown Astoria and a quick 25 minute drive to the beach. Watch the deer wander through the backyard as you drink your morning coffee on your private balcony.
