Situated on the north side of the island, there is a small bar/cafe in the village which is a 5 minute drive, a large supermarket and many restaurants/cafes in Santana which is a 10 minute drive.The weather can be hot and humid but also bring fresh wind and rain. In the summer months the house stays cools, there is a log burner and plenty of blankets to keep you cosy.

Tinha como função ser o abrigo para o Pastor / agricultor colocar os animais e guardar os produtos tirados da terra e respectiva comida para os mesmos, como gado bovino e caprino, era um local sem grandes recursos, muito simples. O Palheiro do Jardim da Avó Graça está LIGEIRAMENTE adaptado para a nossa atualidade. É Local Rústico.
