There is also a laundry room with a washer/dryer & utility sink. Enjoy grilling or relaxing on the patio, or fishing and kayaking in the pond.

The Gator Getaway is the perfect escape from reality located in the swampy town of Manchac, Louisiana. It is the ideal place for a stay near the water with no boat required! The historic building was the original Church of Manchac and was remodeled into a home. Located within walking distance to the famous Middendorf's Restaurant! Connect to the Tammany Trace by way of a bike path that is located in front of our property. Mandeville Trailhead is 1.2 miles away and has bike rentals, farmers market on Saturdays and free spring and fall concerts. New Orleans is just 45 minutes away.
