The Lundgren Tree Farm

Located on 40 beautiful wooded acres in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, the Lundgren Tree Farm was founded by my grandfather Vic Lundgren in the early 1960s. Originally it was an 1880s homestead farm with a two bedroom log cabin and several out buildings. Over the years, my grandfather planted tens of thousands of trees on the property, painted hundreds of water colors and oil paintings documenting the natural flora and fauna, and converted a barn and other structures into additional bedrooms, an art studio, library and meditation room, and the Silver Dollar Pool Hall. As a lawyer, judge, artist and nature lover, Vic stocked the property with art, books, records and sculpture making the Lundgren Farm incredibly beautiful, inspiring and authentic. Just blocks from Lake Michigan, the Farm is a refuge for animals and artists alike, with trails, a fire pit, and rich solitude from city living. The log cabin farmhouse hosts two bedrooms, the kitchen, dining area, living room and full bath. It is filled with art, books, antiques, and a functional record player, organ and cast iron fireplace. The barn is not your ordinary structure, as it holds five seperate rooms - two bedrooms, an art studio, Vic's office and the meditation room. The open common area is rustic and contains a small workshop. The "Chicken Coupe" is a one bedroom outbuilding located behind the farmhouse, with a full bath (and one of the more modern sleeping quarters). All of the bedrooms have nice linens, wool blankets, mosquito netting (sometimes necessary) and antique furnishings. The screened gazebo next to the pond, is a wonderful place to read, eat or just sit back and listen to the frogs, birds and other wildlife that frequent the property.

The Highbanks is a 3 Bedroom 1.5 bath home that can sleep and feed up to 6 people. Full breakfast is included! Serve yourself: Items included, but not limited to; Coffee (decaf/reg),hot cocoa (kureig+ traditional pot), several kinds of cereal, waffles, pancakes, milk, juice, eggs, sausage, bread + more! The Home has HEPA filter, and UV light air filtration, and laundry facilities on site with soap and detergent. There's large driveway with plenty of parking for trucks+boats/trailers/RV's etc.

Firepit and gas grill. the cabin is located 5 miles out of town, so still close enough for shopping or checking out the restaurants. Pets welcomed, if well mannered.

Conveniently located five minutes from Escanaba, you can relax in the hot tub, enjoy the fire pit, soak in the views of lake from the fenced in yard, or walk down to the lake with chairs and a fire pit waterside. The cottage is located with shared parking next door to a restaurant that we also own; the best wood fired pizza around! Kitchen closes at 9:00pm EST and restaurant closes at 10:00pm EST. 1 queen bedroom, 1 queen futon. SmartTv, Wifi.

The Bungalow at Potawatomi State Park is a newly updated cottage only minutes from all that Door County has to offer! Located on a private 12 acre wooded lot with walking trails surrounded by vacant land you can enjoy the peace and quiet of Door County! Potawatomi State Park is only about a 5 minute walk away which offers boat launch, cross country skiing, swimming, kayaks, hiking, biking, snowmobiling and more! The Cottage is 2.5 miles to downtown Sturgeon bay as well! AC and Internet!

The Sasquatch Shores cabin is right on Star Lake, a quiet no wake lake that gives you the peace and quiet you want. Watch the sunset off of the dock or cast a line into the water! The cabin is also situated right on the ATV trail. The main offers a King sized bed and the guest room offers a Queen/Twin Loft bed. There is also sectional couch as a sleeping option!

Then walk through the park a little further for some rock jumping! Our family enjoys Chute Pond and everything it has to offer.

Winding River Cottages-Evergreen Cottage

The Evergreen Cottage is one of the units at Winding River Cottages on the Menominee. There is one other cottage and one house also on the property. This cottage is directly on the Menominee River, very close to Marinette, WI/ Menominee, MI. It has 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, a full kitchen with full-size stainless steel appliances (stove/oven, refrigerator, over-the-stove microwave), and a living area with a 50" TV, chair, and futon, which can convert into a full-size bed.
