Located on the prettiest street in the award winning town of Marlborough , it is ideally placed for a 1 min walk to High Street shops, pubs, picnic spots & lovely walks over the Downs. The cottage has a recently modernised kitchen and bathroom but also maintains all of its period charms including some low beamed ceilings & exposed timber walls, with a large bedroom & storage for bikes.

Our English cottage dating from the 1700s is snug in winter and stunning in summer! With all mod-cons, Chicory Cottage is ideal for exploring the Cotswolds. We're on the edge of a small historic town, with countryside views from the garden. Malmesbury's pubs, restaurants and famous abbey are a short walk, or you can head in the other direction for a country hike. Or just make yourself at home in front of the cosy log-burner, work remotely with our super-fast wifi, or relax in the pretty garden.

The large garden has a hidden gate onto the green behind. 4mins from Pewsey station (London 1 hr) but surrounded by picturesque walks and cycle routes in the North Wessex Downs and Savernake Forest. The Cottage is sat in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty where the Pewsey Vale meets the North Wessex Downs. The Farm is criss-crossed with footpaths, bridleways and open grass pastures so hiking, running, riding and picnicking are easy to come by, as well as home to Ponies, pigs, alpacas and other farmyard animals.

Our cosy Barn is furnished to a high standard and is situated close to the main house in nine acres of grounds and within walking distance to two idyllic villages which have excellent dog friendly pubs. It is ideally positioned if you are seeking a relaxing break with many stunning walks and bike rides or wish to work away from your office. (The office is available for those who stay at the barn for a week and for an additional charge of £100 during BST months and £120 GMT months)

This period cottage includes a double aspect living room, dining room, well-equipped kitchen and utility room, double and twin bedrooms with comfy beds, bathroom with oval bath and fitted shower. There is also an additional bed in the summerhouse if required.
