Unwind in the roll-top copper bathtub, elegantly set upon a mezzanine platform. We are located in a peaceful village, so ask guests to be mindful of noise. We are not suitable for loud parties or celebrations.

The Railway Weigh Office (Cliburn Station)

The Weigh Office is a perfect base to relax, unwind and explore The Lakes & the Eden Valley. The building was once a working part of the Eden Valley Railway and has been fully modernised to provide a unique, compact self-catering holiday accommodation for up to two guests. Heated by an environmentally friendly geothermal ground source heat pump, it offers a lounge, modern kitchen, bathroom, double bed on a mezzanine (accessed via a ladder), private parking and a spacious outside decking area.

The Old Tannery

A traditional sandstone barn conversion, with a sheltered garden in the beautiful village of Temple Sowerby. Located in the Eden Valley you will be well placed for trips to the Lakes or the Dales. In the village there is a local pub offering 'Day Fishing Licences' on the local river, a church and 'The House at Temple Sowerby' if you prefer some 'Fine Dining'. A short beautiful walk will bring you to 'Acorn Bank' National Trust House, with spectacular walks along the river and a tea room.

The Bothy nr Ullswater, Lake Distct

The Bothy is a small snug barn conversion adjoining our home close to Ullswater The living accommodation on the ground floor is open plan and has green electric heating and a wood burning stove in a sandstone inglenook, a wooden staircase leads to a bedroom with ensuite facilities. Barco House apartment is a purpose built self contained apartment completed in 2022 and set in the grounds of Barco House a lovely Victorian family home. The property offers large open plan kitchen, lounge and dining area. There is a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need, shower room with underfloor heating and a double bedroom with a king size bed overlooking the garden. We offer secure storage for any sports equipment you have and ample off road parking.

Private annexe, with separate entrance, small kitchen, sitting room with TV. Downstairs toilet. Private outside patio with table and chairs. Facilities to cook simple meals. Tea, coffee and milk provided. It is important to note the bedroom is en-suite but with access through the main house.
