Fresh spring water flows though the property a gravity‑fed system, our on‑site waterfall generates clean hydroelectric power. Usnea, our Nature, Art and Accommodation Space, is situated on the Evelyn Tablelands, Tropical North Qld. Here a discrete self-contained one bedroom cottage in upland rainforest is surrounded by natural and established gardens, and at 1,160m provides a cool summer and cosy winter retreat. Uniquely the cottage integrates art within and outside. Contemplation, inspiration, privacy and comfort, are all to be experienced, along with exploring our forest and local environmental features.

Set on 40 Private acres, "The Birdsnest" is our modern air-cond smaller cabin. It is open plan living/bedroom with q/size bed and sofa that converts to double bed for extra guests. Seperate bathroom and undercover large deck with stunning rural views. Private river safe swimming hole. Free wifi, flat screen TV. The area has many attractions close by Paronella Park, Etty Bay where you will see cassowaries walking along the beach, Babinda Boulders, Josephine falls, the Mamu canopy walk, white water rafting in Tully and Mission beach just to name a few

Savannah Studio is beautiful and spacious (54 Sq mts). The upstairs studio has views over the pool, beach and palm fringed Coral Sea. It includes a comfortable king-sized bed, dining area, 4-seater couch and wall mounted TV to watch from the couch or bed. Its a short stroll to shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. A beautiful and quiet beach. An ideal place for a weekend getaway or longer stay.
