Brookie on the Conejos

Our cabins are located directly on the Conejos River with everything you could need for your stay. In addition we have a beautiful pond stocked with trout. Catch and release barbless hook fly fishing is available by reservation on our river or pond separate from booking the cabin for an additional fee. PLEASE NOTE FISHING IS NOT AUTOMATICALLY INCLUDED. Also please note, we do allow dogs, however we charge a $50 pet fee. Please message us for availability. Come enjoy a peaceful getaway with us!

Located in the world-famous Greater World Earthship Community, this modern off-grid home is one of a kind! Built by hand over 8 years by me, your host, Kirsten. This sustainable house is bright, light, and airy with clean lines and unique details. Like all Earthships this house is built from natural and repurposed materials such as used automobile tires, cardboard, old cans and bottles. All electricity for the house is from solar. Get away from it all in our remote, contemporary style, off-grid, Colorado treehouse, located in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains at 10K ft elevation. Relax on the deck while taking in the amazing views of Culebra Peak or gaze at the star filled skies. A tiny wood-burning stove will keep you cozy and warm. The sectional couch is used as a super-sized bed. Older kids (or average sized adults) can sleep in the small overhead loft on a 3 inch queen foam topper.
