Perhaps your group is staying in our 3/2 on the same property, & you prefer a private getaway that’s not too far away. Check out our cozy little guest apartment with basic amenities such as a hot shower, filtered drinking water, a small kitchenette, dishes, TV, computer monitor, & wifi. Nothing too fancy, but in a safe, beautiful location off of Hwy 12 in Cuchara. A step up from “glamping.” Can sleep 1-4.

Nestled in the heart of Chicosa Canyon is filled with wildlife and has many interesting rock formations and stone carvings. Go exploring this 65 acre property that is filled with natural wonders. Also a great place to see ufo's/ uap's in the star filled sky. We are close to the area that was featured on Beyond Skinwalker Ranch three times. Horse hotel now open too.

Several lakes are within 30 minutes including North and Monument lake. Take fantastic hikes to the Spanish Peaks or ride your ATV up Trinchera Mountain.

Get away from it all in our remote, contemporary style, off-grid, Colorado treehouse, located in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains at 10K ft elevation. Relax on the deck while taking in the amazing views of Culebra Peak or gaze at the star filled skies. A tiny wood-burning stove will keep you cozy and warm. The sectional couch is used as a super-sized bed. Older kids (or average sized adults) can sleep in the small overhead loft on a 3 inch queen foam topper.

River's Bend

Located on the bank of the Cucharas River, the River's Bend ideal mountain retreat is geared for a family vacation, or personal restorative get away. This two beadroom, 3 bath cabin can accomadate up to six guests in the main cabin with use of the luxury cots in the spacious sunroom. With special arrangements, the detatched Sleeping Hut outfitted with queen bed and sleeping loft offers additional beds and the best sleep you will ever experience!
