Located on 32 private acres, this adorable former boathouse features a king bedroom upstairs with an outdoor deck, stunning views of Moosehead Lake and Big Moose Mountain, and a cozy little bunk room for kids, friends, or guests. Downstairs you’ll find a full kitchen, living, and dining area with an attached screen porch and easy access to the dock below. On The River 2 with Lucy the resident cat

On the River 2 is located in the heart of the historic downtown Kingfield on Main street with river views of the Carrabassett river. Miss Lucy Lu (Lucy) is the cat residents who lives in this special apartment. She is the host and will greet you. She loves people. She is an indoor kitty. There is a restaurant next door, the gallery is downstairs, swimming out the back of the building. Sugarloaf mountain close by. Mountains of possibilities to explore in the western area of Maine.

This idea is what inspired us to build our upscale apartment and provide everyone that stays a place to recharge, relax and enjoy. Whether you’re here to hike, boat, ski at the nearby Big Squaw Mountain Resort, spend the day hiking dozens of local trails, or shopping downtown, this new apartment puts you in the middle of all the action.

Unwind, recharge and reconnect at our beautiful house on Moosehead Lake. A short path takes you down to the lake and a pebble stone beach to swim, use our 4 kayaks, soak in our 4 season outdoor hot tub, or just relax with a good book. Access both the snowmobile and ATV trails from the driveway! Plenty of parking for trailers for all of your powersport toys. The Beaver Cove Marina is a short drive away and provides convenient access to launch your boat for the day.

Cottage 2 is a two bedroom, one bath cottage that has a queen size bed in the primary bedroom and a twin over full size bunk bed with a pull out trundle bed in the secondary bedroom. This cottage is perfect for a group of 4. Comes with complementary coffee and sundries. Please refer to the aerial view of the cottages, to see associated cottage numbers. Lakefront cabin w/spacious deck & gas grill. Spacious living area enjoys plenty of natural light & natural wood interior. Large deck to wake up with the sounds of nature. Spend mornings fishing off the rocky shore before heading out in a canoe or kayak, then sit around the fire pit and relax. Bookcase full of games, books, and DVDs to keep everyone entertained. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials to prepare delicious meals.

Misty Morning Cottages #6 on Moosehead Lake

NEW in 2025! WIFI is now available in ALL 6 of our cottages AND Roku TVs with Hulu + Live TV, Disney + and ESPN +. Guests can safely log into their own streaming options as well with the Roku TVs and they will automatically be logged out the day of their departure. Misty Morning Cottages is located directly on Moosehead Lake and Route 6/15 where all 6 of our cottages have amazing views of Mt. Kineo, the Spencer Mountains and much more!

Peaceful Moose River Camp

This is where you come to get away from it all. Serene camp in a sweet spot on the Moose River. The recently renovated camp is bright and cozy. Sit back and watch the river flow. Gorgeous views of the rapids upstream and Mt. Kineo downstream. Tube down the river, kayak or stand up paddle board from the nearby small boat/canoe input. Tubes, paddle board and kayaks provided.

Moosehead Lakefront Camp

Ideal for whole families or groups of fishermen/snowmobilers. This lakefront camp has direct access to Moosehead Lake with a dock to keep a boat if bringing one. You can fish or ice fish just steps away from the camp. Great for relaxing on the porch or fire pit and getting away from the hustle and bustle of life!
