Our lovingly restored and converted stone barn. Our aim is for guests to experience a historic and traditional Irish country home, while enjoying the comforts of modern living. We have SKYTV, DVD and WIFI but we can also offer the peace and quiet of the rural Irish countyside. Three double bedrooms compliment a spacious open plan ground floor. With its own grounds and parking, this stone property is on the edge of three counties and perfect for exploring the ancient south east and its coast.

We are situated on the Beara Peninsula, just up the road from Helen's Bar in Kilmackilogue. Our Shepherds Hut called The Bothy, overlooks the sea, and is three minutes walk to the beach. Enjoy nature at its best with views of Kenmare Bay and its surrounding mountains. It is a hikers paradise, lying just off 'The Beara Way' . Cyclists will also be in their element with The Healy Pass a few kilometres away. Kenmare is half an hour away with wonderful shops and restaurants.

This traditional farmhouse features a large garden and is situated on a quiet road in the heart of the small island. A road to the shore is just 1km away, while stunning cliffs for walkers are about 2km off. Portmagee and Knights Town are just a 4-minute drive. The monastic Skellig Island (a Star Wars filming location) is a quick boat ride from Portmagee. We welcome up to 2 well-behaved dogs during your stay. 🐕
