It’s quite a sight Take a leisurely stroll up Baboon Point and discover the fascinating ancient Bushman rock paintings, a truly special glimpse into the area’s rich heritage.

Thornbay Accommodation

Thornbay Accommodation is the prime accommodation in Doringbaai, a small town in Southern Namaqualand, West Coast of South Africa. All our apartments are individual and are fully equipped for self catering. (Just bring your beach towel, your food and toiletries). Aan’t See House and Apartment is situated in the quiet seaside village of Lambert’s Bay, and offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in a 2-bedroom house ( 1x king size and 2 single beds) and a 1-bedroom apartment (1x king size/ 2 single beds). Both the house and the apartment offer lovely sea views. The house and apartment is built on the rocks, with a small gate separating it from the sea.

Ouma See has got an unlimited sea view from every window and sliding door (except from the bathroom). Lovely patio with braai facilities. Just across the street from the beach. Within walking distance from shops, museum, etc. Inside fireplace for colder evenings and very comfortable beds.
