Aboyne Cottage—Peaceful Oasis in Quiet Cul-De-Sac

Pluck lemons from the tree and pick herbs from the planters for use in a tasty dish to enjoy in the cool and shaded courtyard. The bright and airy cottage interior has high vaulted ceilings, together with a selection of books and magazines to read to enjoy in the bed made up with 400TC luxury linen. Battery backed up Wi-Fi and additional lights for surviving load shedding. No smoking allowed on property. Guests have own cottage with a private, shady courtyard. Herbs in planters in courtyard and dart board are available for guests to use as well as lemons on own lemon tree. We're an international family consisting of a South African, a New Zealander and a Norwegian. One of us will always be available on our phones and we're happy to chat and share a G&T on our porch if our guests are up for it! This guesthouse is in a quiet neighbourhood, about 15 minutes by car from town and near to vibrant Harfield. Closer still, the village offers a farm stall, butchery, and supermarket within a short walk, plus coffee shops and lots of restaurants. We always recommend uber for short term stays in Cape Town but there is an off-street sheltered parking available if needs be. 10 minute walk to Kenilworth train station and 2 minute walk from Main Road with frequent taxi buses in both directions. Servicing of cottage and laundry can be done on request. Continental breakfast can be provided on request.

We have recently added Solar Power to the establishment, going green and having almost no reliance on Eskom :-) We also have 5 stage filtered water supply. Lovely room (3 other similar rooms) with en-suite bathrooms, and large comfortable beds. Quiet and central neighbourhood, not far from the bustle of downtown Cape Town, and many of the fantastic Cape Town sights. *10 mins from CT Airport ($6 Uber) *12 mins from Kirstenbosch *15 mins from Cape Town V&A TV including Netflix & Disney plus.

Perfect long-term retreat, newly maintained in a serene, tree-lined neighborhood with a large discount for month-long stays. Weekly cleaning of our fully equipped cottage is included. Near Cape Town’s top attractions. Walk to coffee shops, restaurants, and shops. Explore Newlands Forest Trail. Uninterrupted Wi-Fi. Close to Constantia vineyards, Kingsbury Hospital, UCT, & Newlands Stadiums. Smoking is allowed outside. We have pets but the patio area is dog free. Full fridge/freezer.

Riverside

Enjoy a peaceful stay surrounded by a green belt and mountains. Central to lots of activities such as hikes/walks, wine farms, local restaurants and shops. We have many pets on the property, 4 friendly dogs which is, 1 ridgeback, 1 Labrador and 2 medium mixed breeds, 3 cats and 2 bunnies. It is very family friendly, but also perfect for a relaxing getaway. There is parking on the premises. Regarding safety, we have a security guard on our road.

The Owl House - Mountainside bungalow, Muizenberg

Sleep in the trees in a unique retreat overlooking False Bay. Perched on the Muizenberg Mountain-side, the Owl House offers guests a unique garden stay with a distinct tree-house feel and is a short walk away from the buzz of Muizenberg village and its famous beachfront. The self-contained 30m2, solar-powered bungalow is separate from the main house, with a kitchenette, work and dining space, & uncapped fibre, making it perfect for WFH.

Separate entrance into private garden apartment. Spacious double bedroom with two single beds OR a King size by request, Full DSTV package and WIFI. En suite toilet/shower & basin. There is a fridge, microwave, stove and kettle in the lounge/kitchen area. Beautiful pool for guests enjoyment. Secure parking for average size vehicle behind automated gate.Unfortunately no pets allowed as I have two dogs.

Comfortable cottge set in a beautiful indigenous garden. The cottage has all you need, well equipped kitchen, bathroom, sitting area and a patio that opens up onto the garden and pool which you are welcome to use. This is a perfect space if you are on business or on holiday. We are close to shopping centre's, the vineyards and greenbelt. This cottage is not suitable for children or toddlers.

It is a self-catering 1 bed studio apartment with a shower bathroom, a well-fitted kitchen, a comfy lounge and a private balcony/garden courtyard. It is best suited for professionals and couples. It is an open plan area, therefore recommended for a maximum of 2 adults.

Our cottage is situated in the heart of leafy Bishopscourt. 2,1km from Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and 1,6km from Cavendish Square mall. The spacious 2 storey cottage consists of open plan kitchen / lounge, downstairs guest toilet, 2 bedrooms and outside space. We have a shared pool in our garden which guests are welcome to enjoy.
