The Old Dairy, a rural Norfolk hideaway

For over a hundred years, this characterful old dairy was where the cows were milked at Hawthorn Farm. Sympathetically and luxuriously converted into a two-bedroom cottage in 2017, it is self-contained and completely detached. Inside, original walls, beams and vaulted ceilings give it a spacious, airy feel. It has its own fully-equipped kitchenette, and a bathroom with a large shower, WC and basin. The spacious 18 x 14 foot carpeted living space has two huge comfy sofas and a table and chairs.

On the edge of a pretty village with great amenities Including farm shop, two well stocked village shops, chemist, pub and two takeaway options which are all a short walk away. There is a regular bus service from the village to the centre of Norwich. The beautiful Norfolk coast and Norfolk Broads are all conveniently located

As well as being furnished with antique fixtures and fittings. The Hobbit has a small but lovely garden room, where guests can just watch the world go by.

It is located on the same spacious site as the owners house in the picturesque, south Norfolk village of Saxlingham Nethergate. The Hideaway consists of open plan living with a very comfortable king sized bed, dining/working area, kitchenette and separate bathroom with a shower and toilet. Outside is a private fully enclosed garden and lockable shed for bike storage.
