There is a farmshop nearby which sells good Yorkshire produce to take away and also has a restaurant. York is 20 minutes away with its impressive Minster and other attractions including 2 theaters. A number of historic houses are close by which makes the Annexe a perfect base for exploring the local area.

The Yorkshire Dales, Yorkshire Moors and coastline are within easy striking distance, making this an excellent destination for enjoying this peaceful part of Yorkshire.
