The Hacienda del Sol is a Historic Bed and Breakfast built in 1804. The Hacienda was Mabel Dodge Lujan and Tony Lujan's first home together in Taos. Guests that have stayed at our Inn included Georgia O'Keefe, Ansel Adams, Willa Cather, DH Lawrence, etc. We have two big beautiful lawns in the back of our Inn with clear sunset views of Taos Mountain. We serve a delicious, gourmet free breakfast. The Love Apple, (A+ restaurant), shares our driveway and is walking distance for dinner.

We have remodeled two single-story historic homes into several patio rooms with thick adobe walls. hand-hewn vigas, custom Talavera tiles and saltillo tiled floors. Most of the patio rooms also have enclosed private outdoor patios. All rooms enjoy outdoor entrances, ceiling fans and unshared HVAC systems. Available with King, Queen or 2 Queen-sized beds and microwaves, refrigerators, free coffee, and guest robes. Some of the rooms are “dog friendly” with a $35 per dog per night charge

Washington Plaza Hotel Pippa Penthouse FreeParking

The jewel of 215 Washington oozes ‘Santa Fe modern.’ The “Pippa” is a one of a kind space and guests are raving about the beds, linens, and coffee options. The penthouse comes with a full kitchen and sleeps up to four guests. Stretch out on the oversized leather couch and take in the suite’s mid-century modern furniture, hip photography, Navajo-style rugs and Oaxacan tiles. King Room - Shared Bathroom

Front and center in the historic Brown is this cozy room with a view of the mountains and its own sink and vanity. Luxurious king/double twin bed and linens will make for a restful night. The cowboy room is next to the tv/living room with dining table and comfy loveseat. Steps down the hallway is the rose bathroom with walk in shower and quality Turkish towels and high end shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. The sleeping arrangement is a King a- Let us know if you want double twin.

2nd floor rooms with A/C & a balcony overlooking the train yard and mountains. This is the closest accommodations to the train yard in town, walk right down to the station. It is also walkable to most of the restaurants in town as well. Our rooms have an old west feel with all of the modern conveniences of the present with high quality furniture, artwork, and linens. The large bathrooms feature detailed tile adding a luxurious touch as well.

Grand Suite in Charming Historic Mansion!

Stay at The Tarabino Inn, a lovely 1907 Victorian Mansion that beckons back to a simpler time, and calls you to slow down, relax, and enjoy the views. The house was lovingly restored by previous owners over the past two decades, and has many thoughtful amenities. All rooms are large suites! This spacious Sorrentino Suite features a beautiful viewing deck just outside room, with outstanding views!

This room has one bedroom with a king bed and a queen sleeper sofa, a separate kitchen and dining area, and a flat-screen 32in TV. This room is on the first floor. Alpine Lodge no longer allows trailers on property, that includes loading and unloading trailers. Any guests traveling with trailers must use Red River's public parking areas for parking, loading, and unloading vehicles from trailers.
