Sweet Suite!

Our typical guest has grandkids or children that live in our area, is in town for work or is traveling from just about anywhere in the world. Guests have said they like being close to SF at a very reasonable price. We're a family home so you can hear our family when we are in the kitchen. The Sweet Suite is behind our kitchen. Our kids have grown up doing Airbnb so they work to be as quiet as they can when guests are in the Sweet Suite. There is no doubt you will hear us at some point.

Spacious 500 square ft. guest suite, five steps down from private at- grade garden entry, within our beautiful 1904 Dutch colonial on a quiet street in lovely Alameda. The space has standard 8ft ceilings, plenty of natural light with 6 full size windows and a patio space in our lovely garden. Amenities include Roku TV, kitchenette appliances but not a full kitchen. The Queen bed and the full size sofa bed can sleep a family of 4. Easy walk to public transit, restaurants, shops and parks.

Tucked down a quiet, wooded, lane, this 600 sq. ft. carriage house is in the Alhambra Valley of Martinez, CA. Located above a woodworking shop on a secluded 1.6 acre-certified wildlife habitat. Only ten minutes to downtown district of historic Martinez with antique shops, restaurants and water front park. Nearby access to Briones Park and Mt. Wanda for hiking or biking. One mile to the John Muir National Historic site. Easy access to highways 4, 24, 680 and 80, Amtrak and BART.

Our private 2 bedroom suite with amazing views of Mt. Diablo is located in a suburb of San Francisco and Berkeley called Lafayette in the East Bay. We neighbor Walnut Creek and are close to Hwys. 24/680. We are a 5-8 minute drive to the Lafayette BART station. San Francisco is a 25 minute train ride and when there is no traffic a quick 30 minute drive to downtown SF (with traffic add another 15-20 minutes). CAL or St. Mary's College bound? We are about 15-20 minutes away.

Lovely residential location, rustic glamping. Lounge by the pool or cuddle up by the electric fireplace. Surrounded by trees, birds singing, lovely views of the hills, you will feel at ease. Open the doors - it's an outdoor living/bedroom. NOTE only Outdoor Tiki Shower, very private/hot water. Parking on the street, well lit pathway/stairs to cabana. NO PARTIES. Only children over 12. All self-contained with in-unit mini-fridge, coffee machine, microwave and TV with Roku for streaming (no cable TV). standing desk serves as your "office" and a couple small sitting chairs to lounge about or read a book.

Families with up to 2 children are best suited for the loft because of the low ceiling. No more than 2 adults please.

Close to many locations ( restaurants and stores within a mile, BART a mile away), yet secluded enough in a suburban setting surrounded by Oak trees and our backyard creek. We pride ourselves in keeping the studio pristine.
