One of the most prominent and historic listed buildings in Mevagissey, Quayside has had a fascinating and diverse past. Over the course of its more than two centuries nestled between the centre of the village and the harbour it has served as a pilchard press, net loft, doctor's surgery and even as the premises of the local undertaker! Following extensive recent renovation it has been transformed into chic, comfortable and spacious apartments that showcase the character of the building. The two bedrooms in UPPER DECK, one containing a superking bed and the other king size, are topped off with high quality linen guaranteeing a luxurious nights sleep. The superking bed can be converted into twin beds, ideal for children, upon request. The king size bed has a warehouse door with Juliet balcony. The apartment possesses full kitchen facilities including Nespresso coffee machines, free WiFi, TVs in living rooms and all bedrooms, and an Amazon Echo device. Generously proportioned wet room contains rain and handheld showers, and heated towel rail, whilst fluffy white towels are provided. Fully centrally heated. A single free parking place on the harbour is available upon request. Extra storage area on ground floor available for bikes, prams. Board-games, DVDs and playing-cards are available for the use of our guests. We generally stay in the same building and, when there, are available to assist you or try to answer any questions you may have during your stay. Mevagissey is a traditional fishing village with cobbled streets, quaint cottages, shops, and pubs. Charter a boat, cast a line off Lighthouse Quay, and eat local fish at one of the restaurants. The museum and aquarium are located nearby. Getting around is particularly easy out-of-season when smaller crowds and quieter roads make trips a breeze, and journeys to places as pretty as Penzance, Padstow, Perranporth and Polperro are perfectly possible in just a day! Popular destinations like Fowey (30 minutes), Newquay (45 minutes), Falmouth (50 minutes) and Truro (35 minutes) are always worth a visit, whilst St Austell (15 minutes) has a wide selection of supermarkets (Asda, Tesco, Aldi, Lidl) as well as the nearest mainline train station. Welcome to ✨ Stargazers. A s/c studio in a peaceful area of Mevagissey. An 8 mins walk downhill to the village centre and harbour. Boats galore and busyness! Eateries/pubs cater for all tastes, while the independent traders tempt you with gorgeous stuff! The coast path is 5 minutes from us and a 10 minute walk will bring you to a secluded beach (via 200 steps). Sit awhile and spot the resident seal patrolling! Accommodation accessed via stairs. Please note the studio is non smoking inside.

Unique 2 Bed Bungalow, Near Harbour with Parking

This unique, stylish and modern bungalow occupies a rare position adjacent to the inner harbour which can be glimpsed through its courtyard entrance. You can easily walk on the level to all the local shops, restaurants, cafes and harbour without having to struggle up steep inclines. It is positioned in the main centre of activity for Mevagissey but nonetheless occupies a tranquil and peaceful spot in the courtyard. An additional benefit is the parking spot directly outside the bungalow.

Swallow Cottage is centrally located in a quiet village but not far from many popular attractions. There are two bedrooms, shower room, well equipped kitchen/diner open plan lounge. There is a pub and village store (open until late!) within easy walking distance Sticker is on the edge of the beautiful Roseland Peninsula, and within easy driving distance of Charlestown, Heligan Gardens and the Eden Project. The nearest beach is within a short drive of 10 minutes. We welcome dogs. (Max 2)

A cosy, yet light and airy retreat for two, Krowji is located at the end of a private lane in Carlyon Bay, just a 20 minute walk from the bustling historic harbour of Charlestown. Krowji offers off-road parking for two cars and an enclosed outdoor courtyard with seating areas. * Please note, although at the end of a quiet lane, we are next to the main rail line.

Unique and perfectly situated coastal retreat

Unwind and relax in this historic gem of a home. There has been a mill on this site since 1298 and in 2019 we completely refurbished the current 18th century milll to a very high standard to ensure a truly comfortable and magical getaway. You'll be surrounded by trees, bird song and the constant sound of running water and the sight of our resident heron by the waterfall. The mill lies in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Daphne du Maurier country, on the Fowey estuary.
