Red Dog Retreat is settled back from the road amongst the trees. 2.75 mi directly up the hill from downtown Broad St. A 7min easy drive to Historic Downtown Nevada City & 15mins to the Yuba River. Walking and biking trails are steps away from our property and we are a short drive to Scott's Flat Reservoir. Bring your boats, bikes & kayaks! Grill and sit around the fire pit on our wrap around deck. We love our peaceful home and look forward to sharing it with guests from all backgrounds.

Bordering the forest, our home has STUNNING views and is uniquely tucked away behind massive boulders- the perfect Tahoe home base all year round! Hang with friends & family on the back deck overlooking the forest + Mt Tallac, build a giant snowman in the yard, and hike down to the sweet sawmill pond. Set up for families! We have baby gates, pack n plays, a highchair + plenty of kids toys and books ready for you. Dogs on approval!

Located on 20 beautiful acres, this home is the perfect location for any desired vacation. Surrounded by open land and orchards there is plenty of room to roam and enjoy nature, play games in the grass surrounding the home or lounge by the pool. The inside of the home is newly remodeled and beautifully decorated to ensure your stay is comfortable and relaxing. Private and cozy, you'll be a 2 min walk from all of the action of downtown, local bars, cafes, restaurants, boutiques and hiking trails. With just less than a 10 min drive to the beautiful crystal blue swimming pools of the Yuba River this will truly be your gateway to relax and unwind or for a fun adventure in the Sierra.

Beautiful house close to town and in the trees

Cancellations due to fire or Smokey air -allowed. Fragrance free cleaning products Wood floors, washer/dryer stocked kitchen Central heat. Air conditioning. High end mattresses. The house is off of a main road close to downtown Nevada City but in the tallest trees. There is some car noise during rush hour but none of that can be heard from inside of this very well insulated house. No loud parties. We do host dogs and occasionally cats.
