The Girl Next Door - A quaint 1970s weatherboard shack on stilts, curated with simplicity and charm. Country town vibes with beachside town perks! Lovingly renovated, our shack is a cosy, neat & welcoming space to stay with friends and family - incl. your furry ones! New kitchen, balcony deck, bathroom & furnishings, the shack sleeps up to 9 people across 3 bedrooms. Only a short 10 minutes walk (700m) to the Jetty, The Gen Store & Johnson’s Cove and 15 minutes walk to South Beach.

Moonta Bay Self Contained Unit

Large one bedroom unit, set on it's own block of land. Located in a quieter part of Moonta Bay. You are a couple of minutes drive to the shops of Moonta and the historical Moonta Mines. A couple of minutes drive to the Moonta Bay beach and jetty, which includes a free water park for kids to play at the foreshore. 5 minute drive to Pt Hughes boat ramp. There is plenty of off street parking and room for children to ride bikes safely away from the road. Small dogs are permitted outside.

No roads between the property and the beach with convenient stairway access to beach at the front. Neighbouring property, Sandcastles 2 Moonta Bay may also be of interest depending on availability and your group size. Note, a security camera at Sandcastles 1 shed monitors the rear of property where property is entered and rubbish bins are stored for security.

The 1862 waterfront Heritage listed Wallaroo Customs House is now available for you to experience, recently renovated and restored. This original weatherboard beach shack will remind you of your childhood holidays, and has everything you will need for a relaxing holiday. We want our place to be somewhere you can relax and switch off - to help with this there is no tv at the shack. Have a great stay!
