Bohemian Dreams at a Plant-filled Design Loft near the Beach

The loft was here before we moved in. It is one of the oldest buildings in Poblenou. The apartment was transformed into a big open space that includes a kitchen, a dining area, a sofa, a TV, an office space, and the bedroom. The place is in the ground floor, so it is accessible by disabled people and family with a child. We enjoy the afternoon sun and the mornings. We have sun shining into the entrance and the terrace. We've kept a lot of the industrial fittings in the space, and a lot of the furniture we've implemented follows this industrial design. One should not forget that it used to be an industrial space until earlier this year, and it's not a conventional apartment. It's one big open space, and the guest room is separated. Guests will have full access to the apartment. The accommodation includes a big open kitchen, dining area, sofa and TV area, bathroom, bedroom, terrace and plenty of space. We are usually available and love to interact with our guests. However, there are moments in which we are not available to our guests because we have our own plans. We also respect the fact that you may have plans, and don't have time to interact with us. However, we would like to enjoy a meal together at least, either a brunch or an evening snack. Our neighborhood is a vibrant, and up and coming area of Barcelona, it's a maximum 5 minutes walk to the beach, and the yellow Metro line crosses just straight outside the apartment. You need to remember the Selva de Mar stop. Around the block, there are some small restaurants and bars, there is a big supermarket called Mercadona for late night snack shopping (until 9:15 pm) or in Diagonal shopping center (until 10:00 pm). Or if you need to buy red wine for dinner. If you walk another two blocks to the South you'll find the Rambla del Poblenou, that is a pedestrian street and has numerous bars and restaurants of different quality. The Rambla Poblenou is straight all the way from Diagonal to the beach. If you like to eat tapas we can recommend you a restaurant that it is called La Tertulia in La Rambla del Poblenou or the another option is Bitacoras Restaurant near to the Rambla. If you like to eat Mexican food, “Los chilis” in La Rambla del Poblenou is a very good choice. But if you´re vegan or vegetarian, there is a vegan restaurant in front of the apartment, inside the Factory/Garden (Palo Alto) which opens Monday to Saturday. The last recommendation is “El Traspaso” which is in the corner and it is good option for the night:) You can end the night with a good cocktail and a Bloody Mary. The metro yellow line runs opposite to the beach, 5 minutes walk distance and the metro station you should look for is Selva de Mar. One thing to remember is that we are having our business registered in the space, we are freelancers, and work from home, but if someone asks, you are simply friends visiting us. Poblenou is a vibrant, up-and-coming area, with small cafes, art studios, and a pedestrian street with many restaurants and bars. The beach is just five minutes' walk away, and the yellow Metro line crosses right outside the apartment.

Para llegar a Midtown Apartments desde el Aeropuerto de Barcelona: Taxi: El coste aproximado es de 35€. Aerobús: El coste por persona es de 5,90€. Puede tomar el Aerobús a la salida de cada Terminal del aeropuerto y debe bajar en la última parada: Plaza Cataluña. Los apartamentos están a 200 metros, subiendo por Paseo de Gracia y girando a la derecha por la misma calle Casp todo recto hasta llegar a los apartamentos. Tren: El tren sale cada 10 minutos de la estación del aeropuerto y son unos 35 minutos de trayecto hasta la estación de Passeig de Gràcia. Midtown Apartments se encuentra a unos 750m de la salida de la estación. Transporte público cerca de Midtown Apartments Barcelona: Metro: Dispone de 3 paradas de metro cercanas a los apartamentos: Urquinaona L1, Passeig de Gràcia L2 (salida Gran Vía) y Tetuán L2. Bus: Diversas líneas de autobús tienen parada en la Gran Via cerca de los apartamentos: 7, 50, 54, 62 y H12. Bus Turístico: La parada más cercana está en plaça Catalunya a menos de cinco minutos andando. Bus Nocturno (sólo funciona por las noches): N1, N2, N3, N9 y N11. Los apartamentos disponen de parking en el mismo edificio.
