Find your home away from home in our quaint cottage nestled between the River Barrow and The Grand Canal. Take a stroll or cycle along the famous 46km stretch of The Barrow Blueway or cast your fishing rod into the world of coarse fishing on the Grand Canal. Why not take a walk into town across the Aqueduct and visit some of our favourites such as Mooneys & Brennans or snuggle up to a log burning stove. The local Kids playground is a 5 minute stroll away should the kids need some play time.

You are very welcome to stay in 'The Dispensary Daingean', a renovated apartment opening directly onto the Grand Canal Greenway - ideal for walking, running or cycling and a great base for exploring Ireland's Hidden Heartland or The Ancient East. An hour from Dublin, we are centrally located in the historic town of Daingean, County Offaly. 15 minutes from Tullamore and Edenderry. 25 Minutes from Mullingar. Near to the beautiful Slievebloom mountains, Croghan Hill, and numerous golf courses.

Located 5 minutes from heritage town Abbeyleix in co. Laois is Villa Jokubas a log cabin village set on a hill overlooking surrounding countryside. All our cabins combine modern finishes and rustic county charms. In Monasterevin, this memorable place is anything but ordinary. It’s fully wooden construction imported from Lithuania. It’s seasonal camping style (from March to November) overnight experience for adventurous people who are walking or cycling through our beautiful canal side area or just stopping by for few nights to discover County Kildare. Warburtons Cottage

Take it easy at this very unique historical terraced cottage in the country. Built in the early 1800's for the workers on Warburtons Estate, this old turf cutters cottage is a 1 up 1 down slice of the past, now updated with a more modern feel while keeping the character of the old estate. Its a quaint "strange" little house which harks back to the days of large families, hard working people and a place to eat and lay their heads after a long day.

Gurteen Cottage, Glenbarrow, Slieve Bloom Mountain

Rural setting at the bottom of the Slieve Blooms in Rosenallis, this cottage provides an ideal escape to the country. This self catering property is 5 mins from nearest town. Beautiful views. Suitable for walking & cycling with Glenbarrow waterfall within walking distance. Portlaoise & Tullamore 20 mins drive. Private entrance with ample parking. Outdoor picnic area and garden. Dogs are welcome.

A charming self contained apartment located in the town centre with it's own door access.Close to local amenities and transport links. The Courtyard can sleep two in one room with a double bed. Parking is on street but no parking charges apply. The kitchen has a hob, oven,microwave and cooking utensils and cook ware to use if required.
