He wisely recognized for decades to come this would be a prized place of rest, enjoyed by 5 generations. Our two kayaks for beginners and new paddle board are available for rent. Once tucked back into the woods, this newly improved 1920s cabin now enjoys a front-row seat to the grandeur of the Hood Canal thanks to a tidal creek that has washed away the sandy soil that once supported the departed trees. The Carriage House

The Carriage House sits up a steep driveway, surrounded by towering Douglas Firs and majestic Maples. Modern and newly renovated, the Carriage House apartment loft is fully furnished with everything you need for a relaxing stay. A panoramic view of the Olympic Mountains will inspire and amaze all those who stay in the Carriage House. Ten minutes to the Seattle ferry, and the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard . A washer(cold water only) and a dryer are in the Cartiage House laundry room.

Serene Lake-front A-Frame Cabin (1 bed + Loft)

Enjoy the private lakefront and dock from this classic 1-bed + loft A-frame cabin! Recently remodeled kitchen and bath. Great for couples or small families who enjoy the outdoors! The bedroom features bunk beds (perfect for little ones) while the loft features a mid-century modern Queen bed for adults. Basic kayaks, inflatables, and life jackets are provided! Enjoy the peace & serenity of a quiet, non-motorized little lake in the woods in a classic, vintage A-Frame!

Literally steps from the Puget Sound, you will sleep like a baby listening to the sound of the ocean waves and breeze through your window. Conveniently 10 minutes to the Bremerton/ Seattle ferry, and close to hiking trails and recreation in the Olympic Mountains. We have local recommendations available, and mooring options for boats.

There are 5 acres of mountain and sea views, extensive Japanese gardens, ponds, fir and cedar groves.
