Enjoy spacious living areas, a fully equipped kitchen, private garden and free parking. Explore the Surrey Hills, Box Hill, Polesden Lacey and Bocketts Farm. London is also just an easy train journey away. “As you walk through the door, it’s as if The Cottage has given you a warm hug,” as one guest described it.

Driving: 5mins to Oxshott station, 10mins to M25, 20mins to Guildford (or train). Airports: Heathrow (10miles), Gatwick (16miles). Trains to London Waterloo: 35mins.

The Victorian Lodge (1876) is a charming & quintessentially English country cottage on a private estate once owned by King Henry 8th. It sits right beside Windsor Great Park, at the entrance of a long driveway to Little Dower House, where the owners of the Lodge live. The private gardens and stunning view at the Victorian Lodge provide the perfect setting for a small intimate wedding. Whilst the romantic gardens within the Little Dower House estate provide an ideal venue for larger weddings.

Situated in a quiet, tree-lined lane, it is a 5 minute drive to Horsley station which has a direct line into London Waterloo. Lots of lovely restaurants, pubs and cafes nearby for breakfast, lunch or dinner. There’s a mini fridge and microwave in the annex. Beautiful, peaceful retreat, literally surrounded by nature. Step outside the secure gates directly onto Pitch Hill, famed for its mountain bike and walking tracks. This stone cottage really is a retreat! In summer there is a lovely outside decked area with an undercover eating area looking out onto the gardens. In winter, snuggle up on the sofa's in front of the log burner. This is an upside down house to make the most of the wonderful forest, countryside views.

This is a very cosy self contained annex, consisting of a double bedroom with ensuite. There is a kettle, mini fridge, toaster and microwave, but no other cooking facilities. One towel per person is supplied. Fresh croissants and home made jam included and brought to your door in the mornings on certain days of the week. This does rather depend on what time I have to go out in the morning, but often we can agree on a time. Please do enquire.
