Two-story home, with 3 covered patios and a sunset view! Our house has been in business since the Spring of 2010, with five star ratings! We are tucked away in the hill country on the West fork of the Frio River. Even in this recent dry summer (2022), we still have running water in our river spot! We are North of Leakey, on a private 5.5 acre lot, with no neighbors. We are a short drive away from: Concan, Garner S.P. and Lost Maples. Relax in the peaceful hill country or cool off in the river

Frio Riverside Retreat

Hidden down in a canyon on the Frio River, this cabin offers a home base for exploring the Texas Hill country. Take a short walk to your own private river access. Walk up the road for several river road crossing and more crystal clear water to explore. Cook at home in the well equipped kitchen or drive 15 minutes to Leakey to dine at many of the local restaurants. Slow down and enjoy the sunset sets, moon rises and stars on the front porch in a comfortable rocker while watching the hummingbirds!

Rio Frio Sunset Glamper

Looking to leave the hustle and bustle of the city? Our Glamper is a simple place to camp for a couples get-away, small family get-away, or the weekend hunting trip....a place to enjoy Hill country sunsets , gaze at the wide open starry skies, and breathe in good ole’ country air. We are located in Rio Frio, TX just up the road from the beautiful Frio River. Garner state park is only a few miles down the road. ***Property is not located on the river*** Wi-Fi is not reliable Sorry but No pets

Cerrito Lindo

Relax with the whole family at this charming place to stay. It’s an older cabin that provides a sense of home and a peaceful tranquillity. Sleeps up to 8 people with room for 6 in the main cabin and a detached bedroom/bathroom that sleeps 2 more. Perfect for a couple. Washer/dryer included with super close access to the river (right across the road) and a hillside view with plenty of places for a long walk or hiking. There’s even a man-made jacuzzi nearby! Close proximity to Garner State Park.

Close enough to town for the little things, far out enough to hear the silence. Welcome to the Nueces Canyon. This Texas Hill Country farm offers, dark skies, natural rivers and a state of mind that is only found here. On 60 acres, lots of dirt roads, and a rough rocky dry creek to explore. hummingbirds, jack rabbits, deer to keep you amused. Several clear cool swimming holes on the Nueces River just minutes away. "Amadeo" is a secluded 9 acre get away on Saddle Mountain all to yourself, not shared. 2 cabins with 2 full baths & glorified outhouse/shower by salt water pool & spa. Outdoor lounging, covered dining areas, game area, star gazing by the fire pit. We are located 1 mile from river crossing, 5 mins from town, 10 mins from Garner. Beautiful sunsets and view of the hills, also hiking. Each cabin has queen bed, full loft, full futon couch, covered porches. We also love our guests’ fur babies!

Whether planning a peaceful escape from the city or a riding vacation along the Twisted Sisters Hwy, the Texas Wheelhouse is a perfect getaway for your group. La Sandillita’s rustic cabin sits on 5 acres of riverfront on the west prong of the Frio River, 9 miles from Leakey, TX. The cozy cabin has a bunk room,a semi-private loft space with a queen bed,a futon, large couch,and blow up mattresses. Equipped with 2 Roku TVs, WiFi, and the basics. The kitchen essentials supplied and bed and bath linens are provided. If you love venturing off the beaten path, La Sandillita is the perfect spot to unplug, unwind,soak in the Frio, and enjoy nature!
