Need an extra room for the holiday family event or just want to get away? I gave 2 rooms upstairs. Guest can spread out to second room to draw or write. Drive a rural river road 20 minutes to art openings /farmers markets/ dining in HUDSON Hudson is now the “ northern most art neighborhood of MANHATTAN. Bath room shared, spotless: claw foot tub, shower spray handle. Enjoy view of Schodack Island State Park/3 mikes up the road - wildlife preserve. Use my home as a base to explore.

Arnold Farmhouse (second room) (Italianate)

Beautiful airy room with room to sit and table to work on. The bathroom with a shower is just down the hall. Private entrance into house. Enjoy the porch, garden, honey bees; walk around the farm/fields. Larkin Hill is a stones throw, as well as the Valatie Kill & Kinderhook Creek. Excellent loops for cyclists. Get some real fresh air - good for couples or solo. If you are staying more than 1 night, we would provide a nutritious breakfast on the full days here, at your request.

Arnold Farmhouse (Italianate - private bath)

Room with an attached bathroom and private entrance. Enjoy the porch, garden, honey bees, the old farm & fields, situated on the Valatie Kill in a quaint hamlet. The AH Bike Trail is just around the corner. If you come by bike, we can safely store the bike in the garage opposite the barn. Larkin Hill, Kinderhook Creek & Hunt Club are close. Schodack Island state park is 15 min. Van Buren house is 15 also. It is a wonderful spot to get some real fresh air.
