Our modern earth home is a cozy, craftsman-built nest that treats its visitors to light, open space & color. It has a quiet, private setting with everything needed to make your stay comfortable &, hopefully, inspired. The outdoors is this home's other half, creating an enveloping amphitheater of gardens, birds, trees & a hammock. Beyond this private nest are 360 degree views of the Sangre de Christo Mountains, the Rio Grande Gorge, spectacular sunset displays & miles of walking & bike trails.

Taos Skybox "Horizons" High Desert Retreat

Set on 30 acres of private land on the western edge of town, Taos Skybox "Horizons" studio is a unique vacation home experience, purpose-built to take advantage of the dark skies and endless vistas of the high desert landscape. Sitting at 7,000 ft. above sea level, views abound, as your retreat borders Taos Pueblo Native lands, yet is only 15 minutes from the Taos Plaza. Truly a memorable destination, Horizons is modern and well-equipped with a full kitchen, laundry, and fiber optic internet!

Taos Earthship: Modern + Mesa

Located in the world-famous Greater World Earthship Community, this modern off-grid home is one of a kind! Built by hand over 8 years by me, your host, Kirsten. This sustainable house is bright, light, and airy with clean lines and unique details. Like all Earthships this house is built from natural and repurposed materials such as used automobile tires, cardboard, old cans and bottles. All electricity for the house is from solar. All water is from the sky. More comfort, less hippie.

Hawk House

This cozy 2-story home sits on 10 acres in the Chama River Valley, with views of Cerro Pedernal and the mountains. Rustic, cozy, with all basic amenities. Ideal for the solo artist or couple. Hiking + hot springs nearby, including Ghost Ranch, Poshuouingue ruins & Ojo Caliente Springs! Most pets are welcome (for a pet fee). It's helpful to check in on it, however, due to our contained pups further back on the land. Open to longer stays at discounted price. Write about either to discuss!

This area has a wonderful mix of forest and desert all in close proximity.

Tastefully decorated with handpicked antiques, this little spot boasts a nice kitchen and an old Kiva fireplace in the traditional New Mexican style. The views out the front windows could not be better, and more often than not the sunsets will leave you breathless. Enjoy a true New Mexico getaway!
