Carr Cottage is a characterful 19th century mill workers' dwelling situated in the heart of the Pennines in the beautiful Luddenden Valley with a multitude of walks and footpaths. Close to Halifax and its historic Piece Hall or Hebden Bridge with its vibrant arts and crafts scene. We are dog friendly with excellent walks for dogs and their people. Dogs must not be left unattended on the during your stay. Carr Cottage is cycle friendly with classic road or off road routes right rom the doorstep.

Just a 5 min drive to Bury Town centre with a tram into Manchester that takes around 20 mins, 20 mins drive to Ramsbottom or Rochdale. The cosy cottage consists of a comfortable living room, kitchen, two double bedrooms, a bathroom with a bath tub and shower, and a small suntrap garden to sit out on sunny days.

It provides an ideal base to explore this beautiful part of Yorkshire including; Howarth, the home of the Brontes, Halifax, including the Piece Hall and Shibden Hall, the home of Anne Lister and the Pennine Way.

Located a 2 minute walk to Hebden Bridge Train Station. Two car parks within a couple of minute walk from the property free overnight between 8pm- 8am. There is also free on street parking a couple of minute walk from the property on Burnley road, the same road as the property.
