Take in the unmatched views of the hollow from the living room or wrap-around porch. Endless nearby trails for hiking/biking/xc skiing, and Rochester's stores, cafes, and restaurants are less than 10 minutes away. Grocery store, berry picking, lakes, swimming holes, golfing, restaurants, breweries, and wineries all within an easy drive. Killington/Sugarbush both ~35 minutes away.

Our place is a 1980's barn/woodshop that never housed animals that has been converted into a lovely three bedroom home.We are 20 minutes from Rikert 2019 hosts of the Bill Koch Festival and the Middlebury College Snow Bowl.The place is light and airy with southern and eastern sun.The main living room has 13 foot ceilings with lots of couches, arm chairs and places to hang out, read and or relax.We are in the heart of the Green Mountains with skiing and colleges, an easy drive from the house.

Summer is lusciously green; fall colors seen from our deck; the magic of winter. Tons of privacy, but minutes from town. 35 min to Killington or Sugarbush; snowshoe outside your door, and x-country nearby. Snow tires or chains needed from Dec.-March. Please note that we cannot help you if your car gets stuck en route to the house.

Red Acre Cottage is an easy drive to Killington/Pico, Sugarbush, Mad River Glen, Rikert Nordic Center/Blueberry Hill XC skiing, Suicide Six, and Stowe Mountain.

The 1,100 sqft treehouse is nestled among the branches of several maple trees, providing a magical and secluded escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

This quiet 120 acre hilltop house on an 1800's farm turned homestead offers high speed internet, hiking and mountain bike trails, a swimming pond, X-C ski, and sauna. Only miles from renowned New England ski resorts, and featuring 2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, a full kitchen, an open floor plan, and a small backyard right beside a brook, the guest house is quiet and private, the perfect retreat for a cozy weekend with outdoor adventures and creature comforts!

You’ll love our place because of the high ceilings, the rural location, the coziness and its sense of place in nature. Our place is great for couples and solo adventurers who enjoy their privacy, who want to get away from it all but be close enough to a more 'country-urban' vibe. There is a deck for sunning, quite a large front and back yard. A great kitchen for meals at home, a forest to explore and miles of trails to mountain bike or hike.

Funky, family-friendly cabin

Our funky, fun house is nestled in the woods, with a waterfall and brook rushing by outside the large wall of windows. Situated in the Green Mountains, this is the perfect place to relax and play. The large open-floor plan is perfect for families with school-age children. Families with infants and toddlers may not find our home as friendly, as the waterfall, loft and attached farm buildings may create some safety challenges.

The McKinley House

In the village of Rochester. Walk to bakery, cafe, tavern, grocery, and town green. Hiking, biking and Nordic ski trails! Thirty minutes to SugarBush, Pico, Middlebury, and Killington. Located in the heart of the Green Mountain National Forest. We are dog friendly but we require a conversation about it before you can show up with your dog. We charge $100 pet fee for your stay.

Suite in the Green Mountains

We have a first-floor,two-room suite with its own entrance in our home, located on an official Vermont Scenic Highway, in the middle of the Green Mountains. The suite has a large sitting room with a kitchenette; a bedroom with queen bed and A/C; and bathroom with tub/shower. NOTE: We have a second, larger unit in our home called "Two-Bedroom Apartment in the Green Mountains".
