Moosu Guest House and Spa, Cedar Hot Tub and Sauna

Moosu Guest House is a railroad style cabin designed for two people with 12 foot ceilings and floor to ceiling windows in the bedroom for a superb stargazing experience. The private outdoor spa features a salt water cedar hot tub and barrel sauna. Turkish spa towels and cozy robes are provided to complete the spa experience. As part of your stay you will be welcomed with a package including coffee from Nelson’s two iconic roasters Oso Negro and No6 Coffee Co, and tea from Nelson’s Virtue Tea.

Next to the rail-trail, 30min to Nelson, central to 2major ski areas and 5min. from night skiing in Salmo, close to many beautiful lakes in the area. It has a beautiful shower room and a well appointed kitchen and new appliances for you to cook with. Floor heating keeps you cozy and warm and the big windows make you feel being part of nature. The Gold Cup Cabin lies next to the old forest road that leads to a once prosperous gold mine. Theme interior decor is 'Persian-Asian'. This cabin is fitted to sleep up to five guests, with a choice of Queen, King or XL Twin beds. For a group of five, we provide a separate mattress & bedding in the living room. This cabin welcomes pets (extra pet fee applies). The kitchen comes fully equipped to prepare your own meals. Catering option is available (dinner only). Free wireless internet.

Set on seven peaceful acres, the property is shared with elk, deer, rabbits, two resident ravens, and the occasional wild turkey—offering a truly immersive mountain experience.

Air Tree & Be Tiny House

Immerse yourself in nature and experience what tiny house living is all about. Just a short bike ride to Salmo but feels like a world away. Hang in a hammock, sit around the fire or enjoy your morning coffee on the deck. Two sleeping lofts with queen beds, a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. This nook of our homestead surrounded by trees is all yours though we do live close by and have an active homestead raising chickens, tending gardens and working on projects.

The Caravan

Enjoy a memorable and unique experience in the 'Caravan', a tiny home built on the back of a 1967 International Loadstar. Cozy up and read a book in the spacious loft bed. Have a romantic getaway, book our sauna or bring your family of 3 and make use of the twin futon. Walk or ride your bike right out the door on our trails and take in one of the classes or events at For-rest Retreat. Salmo is the perfect place to stay and explore the beauty of the Kootenays.

Salmo, BC. 40ft Trailer on sprawling 8 acre property, next to Salmo golf coarse. Play golf and enjoy the Club house with home cooked meals and short walk away. Private and great for quite time or having a gathering. Room to put up tents and have other RVs(contact host). The Village of Salmo is a 5min drive away. Enjoy the pub, Brew Pub, Legion, coffee shops, and two grocery stores, liquor stores. The Shamballa Music festival is also 5min drive away.

Welcome! We are the Bearfoot Bungalows! Enjoy a one bedroom one bathroom cottage at the end of a quiet street 6 minutes from Castlegar. This relaxing area has a large yard with communal area. Our property borders the Selkirk Loop walking trails, is near Selkirk College and the Regional Airport. The bungalows provide a clean, comfortable stay with all the amenities including fully stocked kitchen and stylish furnishings.
