Inspired by the myth of the Minotaur, I’ll lead you in a hands-on workshop that invites you to create while connecting with Greek history and art. • I’ll welcome you with some local Greek snacks, juices, and coffee, as I introduce the history of Keramikos and its ties to Greek pottery. • Next, I’ll share the captivating story of the Minotaur, a mythical creature symbolizing desire and human challenges. We’ll draw inspiration from this legend to craft four individual relief tiles, which you’ll be able to take home to use as coasters or wall art. • Then, working collaboratively, we’ll combine your individual tiles so they become part of a larger unified, shared creation. You’ll take home a ceramic souvenir crafted by me, along with photos of your work and the group’s project. Together, we’ll spend the day combining creativity with mythology, leaving you with memorable ceramic art and a deeper appreciation for Greek culture.

Olive oil tasting tour in Heraklion paired with Cretan lunch

A real olive oil tasting experience at a sophisticated agritourism destination. This experience includes the tasting of extra virgin olive oil and organic extra virgin olive oil paired with Cretan lunch, along with a guided tour of the exhibition venue and the farm and factory grounds (vineyard, olive grove, olive oil bottling unit, fruit packhouse). In the exhibition venue, we start walking together along our beloved corridor adorned with black-and-white family photos and captioned family albums. We will dive into the process of production, packaging and standardization of a range of fresh fruit and vegetables (these may vary depending on the time of the year). On the exterior grounds, we will stroll through vineyards and olive groves, visit the olive oil bottling unit and stop by our traditional farmhouse ''metochi'' to unwind in a genuine Cretan house. The facility features a bistro café-restaurant, where you can enjoy some coffee, wine or aperitif, as well as authentic culinary delicacies, while taking in the lush green farmland scenery. Cats of Acropolis

Our cat-walk starts near the foothill of Acropolis where we meet our first sociable kitties, get to know their names and their backstories. Freddie and his siblings will welcome you to their area, while Kolovos -our tuxedo boy- will enjoy your petting! We continue our walk through a park where we will meet fluffy Swiffer & Bengal boy who will lure you with their charms together with their feline friends! Strolling through the quiet streets of this neighborhood we find out that every block has a small colony of cats, like chatty Nala and shy Simba ready to still your hearts. We continue our walk towards another park and find our last colony where will meet Gazelle and her best buddy Billy Ray, among others. Our cat - walk finishes at Thissio metro station.

Our sea kayak tour start from the beach of Fyriplaka and then we head to the east, to the beaches of Tsigrado and Gerakas, along the volcanic coastline of Milos. On our way, we will be paddling along beautiful small bays, into caves and around tiny islets. Throughout this journey, we will swim in crystal-clear waters and we will explore the magnificent underwater world of Milos, with the help of our snorkeling mask! Keep your fingers crossed; we might even swim close to a sea turtle, reach a hidden volcanic beach or find a thermal spring! We will also be taking pictures, using our action camera, so you can keep the highlights of the tour and bring home the breeze of the Aegean Sea. When we arrive at Gerakas, we will have the chance to enjoy a traditional, homemade treat and then paddle our way back, with our backpacks full of unforgettable memories.
