The Schoolhouse Hotel Bar is situated along the Grand Canal and adjacent to Mount Street Bridge (the site of the Battle of Mount street Bridge during the early years of the revolution if 1916. The Bar is spacious with lofty ceilings and a mezzanine. It has comfortable seating throughout, two fireplaces and the food is good. The Bloody Marys are among the best that Dublin has to offer. Great spot for brunch or lunch.

It has a south-facing courtyard beer garden that catches the sun from early afternoon. Their menu is award-winning and they do a good wood-fired pizza.
