Camber Castle lies between Rye and Winchelsea in a field !. There is no vehicle access to the castle but it is a one-mile walk on footpaths from Rye. The exterior is viewable at any time but the interior is only open by guided tour. It is managed by Sussex Wildlife Trust .

Theres a growing and thriving artistic quarter on the old High St, and a beautifully renovated old harbour station which is now part of a walking and cycling route.
