Stop into Chin Music Press, a small publisher specializing in high-quality editions, and other unique finds. If you have kids and/or like magic, be sure to stop into the Market Magic Shop and ask the magicians if they might perform a trick or two : )

Touristy? Yes. But still a fun trip with spectacular views! To turn it into a longer adventure, leave the car at home and take light rail to Westlake Station. From there you can catch Seattle's historic Monorail to Seattle Center.

My favorite view of the city with lots to do. Play on the beach, enjoy fish-n-chips, ice cream, or other yummy stops along the main strip. Alki always feels like a 'getaway' to me, though it is just a bridge away!
