We loved Bills when it was first developed in Lewes from a grocery store. Bills was brought out and there are now several around the uk including Eastbourne. A gem of a restaurant coming to eastbourne. We like it for its modern food combinations, healthy options, great decor, outside seating and central location

Saltmarsh Cafe & Rooms

I discovered the Saltmarsh recently. It is a secret hideaway on the edge of Friston forest and the Cuckmere national park. There is a lovely cottage garden where the little birds are almost tame asking for crumbs by parking themselves on the table and chirping! Great choice cakes and coffee. And a fabulous place to walk. Nina, the owner, has turned this into a wonderful secret hideaway.

For many years we have taken our dogs for a walk under the cliffs at Hollywell when the tide is out . You can walk along the sand through rock pools and over rocks . Great fun for kids an adults .
