s/n Av MéxicoA forest in the middle of the city; bigger than New York’s Central Park, Chapultepec is the lung of the city; There, you can have a great day visiting a few of the 12 museums in and around Chapultepec (there is also picnic areas, bicycle trails and even a zoo) El Restaurant de El Lago is a really fancy place to eat.

Buy all you need at a clean, well stocked supermarket.

One of the best places to get Mexican handcrafts, hundreds of artisans selling their beautiful creations in the same place ( Please do not haggle too much and try to always pay the asking price)

A beautiful Palace in Mexico City Historic District (actually an active Opera house) Enjoy the works of Mexican greatest muralists inside, watch the Mexican Folklore dance company, eat at the restaurant or just have a quick tour of the place.

A really nice and really close by place to look and buy books, dvds and gifts and also have coffe, breakfast and if you are lucky even listen a guitar recital.
