About This Neighborhood
The Dupont Circle neighborhood is bounded approximately by 16th Street NW to the east, 22nd Street NW to the west, M Street NW to the south, and Florida Avenue NW to the north.
Dupont is a popular residential neighborhood with lively dining and nightlife. Eclectic eateries, coffee shops, bookstores, dive bars and dance clubs cluster on Connecticut Avenue, while over on Massachusetts Avenue, stately buildings line Embassy Row. In many ways, Dupont Circle represents the best that DC has to offer. With its turn-of-the-century homes, inviting public spaces, diverse selection of bars and restaurants, and vibrant energy, the neighborhood is virtually a self-sufficient village within the city.

Where to eat
This old row home, turned restaurant may not look like much from outside, but the food here is amazing. I'm a sucker for the shrimp and scallop risotto, but honestly everything is delicious!
In addition to food, this place also has great ambiance and is a favorite restaurant among locals. Great cocktails too. If you go early, I'd recommend hitting up the basement bar for a Dirty Ditos (dirty martini made by the bartender, Dito).

Not only is this place super convenient (it's literally around the corner), but the food here is great! If you're a drinker, make sure you order a frozen margarita. They are delicious and a favorite among the neighbors!

Great food, great service and less than a 5 min walk from here. What more could you ask for?
Happy hour here is a great deal. Plus the bartender upstairs (where happy hour happens) is a really fun guy.

This place does amazing food, but their bottomless brunch with unlimited small plates and drinks is my favorite thing to come here for. If you're around during a time they have brunch, I'd highly recommend this place. :)

This is a beautiful place to walk around, especially when the weather is nice. Cherry Blossom season is when this area becomes the most picturesque! Grab a comfortable pair of shoes so you can walk around and see the monuments while you're there!

Metro vs Bus
The metro is everyone's first go to when they think of public transportation in DC, but the bus will probably get you there faster and require less walking. Don't forget about the bus!
