It is surrounded on one side by the National Palace which is the seat of the presidential power, in two of the other sides there are government offices and hotels and on the north side we find the Cathedral. Both the National Palace and the Cathedral are worth visiting.

Using the Metro
The Metro is by far the best means of transportation. It is fast and cheap, although at times it is very crowded, usually at rush hours. Do not wear very fancy clothes or flashy jewelry if you plan to use it. Always carry with you a metro map and plan your route in advance. The metro tickets cost five pesos each and there are no seasonal or day tickets.

You can request Uber cars on your app. They work very well and are, in general, very dependable. Always check the plate number and make of the car prior to boarding it, and also the picture of the driver. If any one of these do not coincide with the information your app is providing DO NOT GET IN THE CAR AND REPORT IT IMMEDIATELY. There are also other cars for hire applications. They also work fine and the same recommendations apply.

The Metrobús might also be a good means of transportation. It works with a pass. No individual tickets may be purchased, this makes it, in my opinion, harder to use.
