Recommended to me by a Hunan student for authentic Hunan Chinese food. Make sure you ask for the Chinese menu, they tend to give non-Asians the British-Chinese gloop menu by default. A little bit variable, but some things very good (e.g. aubergine dish); popular with Chinese for hotpots.

Top of the South Downs, with views and pub (which needs booking at peak times - food fine but can be slow service). Can walk along the top of the downs from here. There is a bus from the main station that goes up here in spring and summer.
