This is a light and airy space - The Living room and bedroom sliding doors open onto the garden overlooking the ocean. A garden gate leads you to the beach and our well known local surfspot Point. The space is perfect for adventurous, outdoorsy people who love the beach and enjoys surfing and the ocean. It is very peaceful with the constant sound of the waves around u.

Driftwood Cabin is located in the heart of Cape St Francis near the main beach as well as lighthouse. Its 80m from the beach. The Cape St Francis beach is one of the best beaches in the world with a 3km walk to far point on sand. The point and beach break is also excellent for surfing and made famous by the movie The Endless Summer. This quiet town is known for its small, casual and friendly community with restaurants nearby. The house is located on 2 stands with 50m of canal frontage with a boat mooring & Jet ski dock. It has everything required for a fantastic relaxing holiday including free unlimited wi-fi. For loadshedding we have a battery backup system for all the Lights, the Fridge, the Wi-Fi, the Decoders & the lounge TV.

Beautiful House on canals

Our beautiful canal-side home away from home. This family friendly home is an oasis of peace and relaxation on the stunning St Francis Bay canals. Please note we recently renovated and the house no longer has a thatch roof. It’s now a modern shingle roof with aluminum windows and doors. We have updated some photos with the new roof and the white internal ceilings.

We are centrally situated and only a short walk from our beautiful beaches and canals, top class restaurants, shopping centres and golf courses. At Summer Bay Cottage, you can kick back and relax in this calm and stylish space.

It’s a short walk to the Krom river. Guests have access to the garden, jetty and canal. There is a canoe to use. We live in the main house a few metres away.
