Cob Cottage

Channel the pursuit of pause in this one-of-a-kind earth house. The cozy retreat was hand-sculpted using local and sustainable natural materials, and features a central living space with cantilevered slab stairs leading to the loft bedroom. Guests have access to the entire cottage and surrounding property. We live in the neighbouring house, and are happy to give advice or answer questions to help you make the most of your stay. The neighborhood is quite rural and mostly agricultural with several farms and a small private vineyard. The home is a 10 minute walk from the beach and a 20 minute walk from a family grocery and deli specializing in local organic produce. Mayne Island has a small community bus. Times and routes are limited, particularly in the winter. It will stop at the driveway. We also have an official hitch hiking system with signed Car Stops where you can wait for a ride. Usually you don't have to wait long. We are happy to offer pickup and drop off at the ferry dock as a courtesy to encourage car-free travellers, on days when the community bus is not running. Please let us know ahead of time that you'll be coming without your own transportation, and we will make sure that either we or the community bus (which will drop you off at our driveway) are there to meet you when your ferry arrives. The BC Ferries terminals near Victoria and Vancouver are easily reachable via public transit from their respective airports and downtowns.

This clean, cozy cottage with a Scandi feel is located a short 7 minute walk from the best swimming and sunset beach on Salt Spring. Equipped with a kitchen, bathroom, and queen bed this is the perfect spot to enjoy a taste of the Salt Spring life. Shop at a local farm stand and use the kitchen to cook up a farm to table meal. Then go for a walk to the beach to enjoy the best sunset on Salt Spring! After a quick walk home, a comfy bed awaits, or stay up and play one of many board games offered!

Rosie's Studio

Rosie's Studio is a very special place decorated with original paintings by the late Salt Spring Island artist - Rosemaria Behncke. This large, unique cottage/studio is situated on a 25 acre farm in the peaceful south end of beautiful Saltspring Island, close to parks, beaches, Fulford Shops and the Ferry Terminal. Relax in this quiet pastoral setting and enjoy the sweep of the ocean out to volcanic Mount Baker. We welcome families with children and pets. Update: Emily the duck has passed.

Seaview Retreat

Welcome to our Seaview Retreat. A cosy, private and beautiful guesthouse B&B, ideal for writers, birdwatchers, booklovers, artists, dreamers and hikers, looking for a peaceful environment. Bookings are a 3 day minimum. Two weeks maximum. Our guesthouse is for adults only. One person or a couple. 10 min easy walk to town, and public transit is close by. No Smoking on property please and no pets. Hosts live on property and will be here to greet you.

The Trincomali Hideaway Oceanfront Yurt

This luxurious oceanfront yurt is hidden in an ancient cedar grove providing privacy and an amazing backdrop to its unprecedented ocean front setting. Set atop an ocean front rock face with a fully covered patio. A fully equipped kitchen and spa like bathroom highlight the luxurious amenities included in this stay. An upscale romantic getaway like no other. Breakfast provided, our guests receive coffee, teas, and light breakfast fare.

Hawthorne Place

This tiny sleeping cabin the edge of the heart of the Ganges. The cabin is so private you feel as though you are in a country setting. Your tiny cabin has several amenities for your comfort. A 5 min. walk into the main village you will find many places to dine, pick up local crafts or wander through several exhibits in galleries. Tea and coffee are always served! This memorable place is anything but ordinary.

GALLERY B&B SUITE

A quiet and sunny suite with a private entrance, within walking distance of Ganges. It accommodates 2 comfortably with full kitchen , dining table, spacious bathroom with shower, queen size bed with reading lights, and a private patio with BBQ. Breakfast makings are provided - fresh organic wood-fired naturally-leavened sourdough bread from Francis Bread, also butter, jam, eggs, milk, coffee and tea.

Cabin on St. Mary Lake

Come and relax on beautiful St Mary Lake! Our cozy, contemporary cabin has everything you need and provides a clutter-free space to unwind and recharge. Sip a glass of wine on your patio overlooking the shared grounds and lake, do a yoga practice or some writing in your private office/yoga room, have a morning coffee on the dock or toss a frisbee in our park-like, lakefront haven.

Hidden Retreat

The cottage is approximately 2km from Beaver Pt Hall, 5km from Ruckle Provincial Park, 10 minutes to Fulford Harbour, and 20 minutes to Ganges. We are within walking distance to several beach accesses, Canada Conservancy forest, and a beautiful First Nations Reserve. The beaches are launch points for nearby Russell and Portland Islands in the Gulf Island National Marine Parks.

Sacred Earth BnB

Our charming airy BnB is 4km away from the downtown plaza, and is surrounded by hiking trails, is a short drive to isolated beaches, awe-inspiring forests, and stunning wildlife. We encourage guests to make use of the cozy intimate outdoor seating area below the gazebo and enjoy the golden hour in our refreshing oasis.

Log Chalet

Our individual log chalets are nestled in between towering cedar and Douglas fir trees. A quick 2 minute walk through the forest path leads you to the beach at St. Mary's Lake. Swim, fish, canoe, kayak, and paddle board. Play ping pong or badminton, or just relax and enjoy your wood burning stoves!
