Located in the heart of a recreational mecca, this brand new home was designed with the guest in mind from the cozy gas fireplace, to the spacious master with a Cal King, another queen bed, and the bunk room. "The Silver Dollar" is fully loaded and stocked with all of the essentials to make your trip comfortable and enjoyable.

With one queen bedroom, one bath, a living/dining room, pull out couch and loft with two queen air mattresses.

Come expecting to relax at our peaceful and convenient getaway behind town, but within minutes of the grocery stores or restaurants in Thompson Falls. You can hear the train in the distance, or occasional activity with vehicles coming or going from our shop near the cabin, but otherwise should be mostly undisturbed. For coffee lovers, we have a fresh roasted, organic selection for the kurig machine. We have one bedroom, and also the loft which has the 2nd queen bed. Enjoy your stay!

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable retired fire lookout on Clark Fork River. Walk down to your sandy beach for kayaking, swimming, boating or basking. Connects to main River Trail walk or bike to town, restaurants and golf. All built in to this incredible home. May not be suitable for small children and Elderly with all the stairs and heights. This home has exceptional outdoor living spaces with a separate kitchen that opens up completely to all of this outdoor living.

In winter we are adjacent to miles of snowmobile and cross country ski trails or skiing at Lookout Pass Ski Area.

Restored 1909 Train Carriage on 145 Acres

Stay in a restored 1909 train car, with a sauna and hot tub. Set amid forest and wheat fields with beautiful views. Spectacular night skies and lots of solitude round out the experience. This car ran on the Washington Idaho & Montana Railway from 1909 until around 1955. It was, (and is), car number 306, bought new from the American Car and Foundry Co.

The lookout is open year round with a wood fired stove to keep warm at night or heat your morning coffee.
